Patrons who fail to cancel their registration will be unable to register for classes for two months following the missed class.

A computer classroom has been established so that Gadsden Public Library may provide classes introducing technology to patrons.

Classes are offered free of charge to the community.

Classes begin promptly at designated time. No one will be admitted after 10 minutes past the time the class is scheduled to start.

Classes are limited to ten students, one person per computer.

Library classes are taught using library equipment only. Patrons may not bring personal computers into computer classes.

Patrons will be responsible for damage to classroom equipment.

Computers in the classroom are for instructional purposes only.

Classroom is only to be used for library or City functions.

Library classes are not affiliated with any educational institutions and do not provide completion certificates, CECs or class verification for professionals or students. Classes are for personal enrichment only, and are not intended to substitute for certified computer classes.
Pre-registration is required as space is limited.

Specific registration dates will be announced.

To register for a computer class, patrons must complete a form at the service desk in the Computer Center on the second floor.

Registration will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis. The purpose of this procedure is to allow everyone equal opportunity to sign up for a class.

Patrons can only register for two classes per month.

Patrons must have a fine free library card to register for library classes.

Patrons under 13 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, who is also registered and in attendance, to participate in computer classes.
